1. GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE (WEBSITE & ALL SERVICES)

1.1 Scope of Services

SĀCRED REMEMBRANCE offers holistic wellness services including online content, membership, 1:1 mentorship, programmes, retreats, events, workshops, healing and ceremonies. These services are designed for personal growth, well-being, and empowerment but are not substitutes for professional medical advice or treatment.

1.2 Eligibility

To access or use our services, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during any registration or booking process.

1.3 Payments and Fees

All payments must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. Payment methods accepted include [e.g., credit card, bank transfer, etc.]. Payment terms for each service may vary and are outlined in the relevant sections below.

1.4 Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Personal data collected through our website or services is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we handle, store, and protect your information.

1.8 Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

1.9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal proceedings must be brought before the courts of Oosterhout, Netherlands.

2. RETREAT TERMS

2.1 Retreat Overview

Retreats are immersive experiences designed to deepen personal transformation, healing, and connection. These events may include workshops, yoga, meditation, ceremonies, and group activities.

2.2 Booking and Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required upon booking to secure your spot unless otherwise stated. Full payment is due by 30 days prior to the retreat start date. Payment plans may be available on a case-by-case basis.

2.3 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Due to the financial liabilities that come with hosting a retreat, we are not able to provide refunds.
In the event that the retreat is canceled or postponed by us due to unforeseen circumstances, participants receive a voucher to another retreat of equal value.

2.4 Travel and Accommodation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat location unless otherwise stated. Accommodation and meals provided during the retreat will be specified in the retreat details.

2.5 Health and Safety

Participants are encouraged to disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, or other health information prior to attending the retreat. By attending the retreat, participants confirm that they are physically, mentally, and emotionally able to participate. If unsure, participants are encouraged to seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before attending.

Participation in all retreat activities — including yoga, movement, workshops, ceremonies, breath work, cold water, hiking, massage, or any other offered practices — is entirely voluntary. Participants are always responsible for listening to their own bodies, honouring their boundaries, and choosing what feels appropriate for them.

2.6 Liability Waiver

Retreat experiences are deeply personal and unique. The outcomes of personal transformation differ for every participant and depend on many factors, including individual circumstances, readiness, and personal engagement.

By attending a retreat, participants acknowledge that emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual experiences may arise throughout the retreat. While we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment, participants remain fully responsible for their own wellbeing, choices, and integration throughout and following the retreat.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants agree to release and hold harmless Manouk de Bijl, additional facilitators, SĀCRED REMEMBRANCE, photographers, The Retreat Centre, its owners, employees, contractors, and staff from any liability for injury, illness, accident, loss, damage, theft, or any other claim arising from participation in the retreat, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

2.7 Photography & Media

During the retreat, photographs and short video recordings may occasionally be taken to capture the beauty and essence of the experience. We are deeply mindful when documenting the retreat and will never intentionally photograph or film participants during vulnerable moments without their awareness.

By attending the retreat, participants grant permission for photographs and video recordings in which they appear to be used by SĀCRED REMEMBRANCE, Manouk de Bijl, the photographer and additional facilitators for educational, inspirational, and promotional purposes, including on websites, social media platforms, newsletters, printed materials, and future retreat communications. Participants who prefer not to appear in any photographs or video recordings are warmly invited to let us know before or during the retreat. We will always respect their wishes.

2.8 Confidentiality & Respect

Creating a safe and trusting space is at the heart of every retreat. Participants agree to respect the privacy of fellow attendees by treating all personal stories, experiences, and information shared during the retreat as confidential, unless explicit permission has been given to share them elsewhere. Participants are also expected to contribute to a respectful, compassionate, and inclusive environment throughout the retreat.

3. EVENTS & CEREMONIES TERMS

3.1 Event Overview

Events and ceremonies, including cacao ceremonies, yoga classes, healing sessions, workshops, women’s circles, and other group gatherings, are designed to foster community, connection, and healing.

3.2 Booking and Payment

Event and ceremony bookings are made online or via direct contact. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

3.3 Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations are non-refundable as there are limited spots available. However, feel free to pass your spot on to another sister through your circle. Email connect@manoukdebijl.com to pass on the change of tickets.

3.4 Event Changes

We reserve the right to modify the event schedule, venue, or facilitators if necessary. In the event of a cancellation by us, participants will receive a full refund or the opportunity to transfer their booking to a future event.

3.5 Participation Waiver

By attending an event or ceremony, participants agree to participate voluntarily and accept personal responsibility for any injuries or damages. SĀCRED REMEMBRANCE and facilitators are not liable for any injuries sustained during the event.
